Articles to be sent to the journal for publication and books It should be prepared according to the rules stated below.

Abstracts and Keywords

- Articles can be written in English and Turkish. The title of the article must be in Turkish and English as well as in its original language. The abstract should include the purpose, method, evaluation and conclusion of the article. Article abstract 3It should be written in Turkish and English, not exceeding 00 words. The abstract section should not contain text or figure references, quotes or footnotes.

- There should be five keywords under the abstract. Key words should be prepared in Turkish and English.

- The first page of the article should include article titles, author name(s), abstracts, keywords, and the author's address and contact information as footnotes. The text should be written in Times New Roman font, 12 point, 1.5 line spacing from beginning to end. The margins on both sides, top and bottom margins must be at least 3 cm.

- Digital text must be in Word format. Moreover “.tiff” or “.jpeg” There is no need to send photos in format. However, it must be documented that the copyright in the photographs belongs to the author. Photographs that may have copyright issues should not be used in the text.

- The term “picture” is used for all photographs, maps and tables in the article. An image number is given for each image. Each picture should have a counterpart in the text and the relevant references should go sequentially (fig. 1, 2, 3).

- If a map is to be used, fig. There should be a map indicating the geographical location of the region or study area that is the subject of 1 article. When designing the map, it should be taken into consideration that JoVA magazine has an international readership. Articles containing field reports should include at least one photograph showing the excavation area and its surroundings.

- In the List of Images, the word “Figure” should be the first phrase of each title. For example, Figure1. Map Showing Bursa Walled City and Its Surroundings. Photo: Author or Jobst 1978, 43 fig. 4.
Tables and Texts with Special Fonts
Since the original layout of tables and texts using special fonts is easily damaged, a printed copy of each table or written text must also be sent in ".pdf" format.
