5. January. I was born in 1946 in Ankara. My father is an art teacher, Cemal Bingöl, and my mother is a primary school teacher Sabahat Bingöl. I completed my primary and secondary education at Atatürk Primary School, Namık Kemal Secondary School and Gazi High School in Ankara. In 1964, Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History-Geography, Classical Archeology Chair, Ord. prof. Dr. I started my higher education with Ekrem Akurgal. Until my retirement on 05.01.2013, I was the Head of the Classical Archeology Department between 2008-2012 and the Head of the Archeology Department between 2010-2012 at Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography. In 2014, I returned to university life as the Head of the Department of Archeology at the Faculty of Letters of Karabuk University and undertook the department head, architecture and painting courses. I retired on 05.01.2020.
